Select the layer, group, or artboard you're working on
Click the ✨ sparkle icon in the toolbar, or use the shortcut Shift C
Describe what you need
You can continue working in parallel and once generated, your updates will appear directly on the canvas or artboard.

What AI Superagents can do
Here's some examples of what you can ask AI to do in Jitter:
Layout changes: reorganize layers, adjust spacing
Color edits: change fill colors, apply a palette across layers
Text edits: rewrite copy, adjust tone, or translate text into another language
Layer management: rename layers or groups
Resizing: resize artboards or elements
Animations: modify existing animations on the timeline, or generate new motion from a prompt
Besides using prompts, you can also paste or upload image files into the chat as references and context for your request. A picture is worth a thousand words. 📸
✏️ Note: Superagents are focused on layout, layer, and motion edits. Use AI Effects for custom animation effects and Image → Video to generate video from static images.
Getting the most out of Superagents
Superagents will valiantly attempt to tackle any task thrown at them. A few practices will make it an even more reliable partner and help you go further with your credits. Stay in the driver's seat, and give it something concrete to build from for the best results.
🔍 Select layers to provide context
Select the layer, group, or artboard you want Superagents to work on before typing your prompt. This tells Superagents exactly what "it" refers to, instead of leaving them to guess what layer work on.
⚡ Use quick actions
Quick actions are pre-built shortcuts that appear as buttons in the chat panel or the AI menu. They are already optimized for specific tasks and recommended for getting the conversation going.

🖼️ Start from an existing design (when you can)
While you can attempt to prompt your way to a masterpiece, Superagents really perform best when they can work on something that already exists. Starting from an existing layout also uses significantly fewer credits than generating one from nothing.

🍪 Keep your prompts bite-sized
If you're having trouble getting exactly what you want, break your request into focused prompts and iterate, rather than describing an entire animation in one long-form prompt. A single prompt covering a full, extended sequence rarely produces the result you want on the first try.
Creative processes are often iterative and two-way. More focused steps give Superagents clearer objectives to work with, and give you a natural checkpoint to course-correct before the next change builds on top of it.
🛠️ Know when to reach for a different tool
Superagents can attempt almost anything, but that doesn't mean they're always the fastest way to get something done.
For small, direct edits, like adding a shape, shortening an animation, nudging a position, picking a color, or adjusting your copy, it's often quicker to just do it yourself with Jitter's regular design tools than to write out a prompt and wait for a result.
Conversely, Superagents are always worth reaching for when you need to scale your production. For example, when trying to match color palettes across layers or translating your copy into multiple languages.
