Waiting for one animation to fully finish before starting the next creates dead moments. Overlapping your actions fixes this by keeping the momentum going and makes the sequence feel continuous rather than like a checklist of separate steps.
How to do this:
On the timeline, find the end point of the element you want to overlap.
Drag the start point of the next element so it starts before the previous endpoint finishes.
Adjust the overlap until the handoff feels smooth rather than rushed.
