Editing text layers on your file or from a template

Written by Karen

There are the two ways to select and edit text in Jitter.

  • Select the text layer in the Layer list, and press Enter

    or

  • Double-click directly on the text in the canvas.

✏️ Note: Some templates, like Stretch, use SVG shape layers to draw each letter rather than editable text. To customize these, you'll need to recreate the wording: delete the letter shapes, add your own text layer, and reapply the animation, or edit the SVG in a design tool and re-import it.

When you select a text layer and open the Design tab, you’ll see properties that control how your text looks and behaves.
