Use custom scale animations to create the illusion of a cursor clicking a button.

To create a click animation:
Select your cursor layer
Open the Animate panel
Select New animation → Custom → Scale
Scale the cursor down slightly to simulate the press
Add a second Scale animation that brings the cursor back to 100%
Repeat the same two animations on the button being clicked
