How to animate text

Make your text move with presets and custom animations

There are two main ways to animate text in Jitter: with presets or with custom animations.

Animate text with presets

Jitter offers a range of animation presets that enable you to animate layers with a single click. In the Animate tab, click New Animation and choose either an In animation (to make the text appear) or an Out animation (to make it disappear).

✏️ Available presets may vary depending on whether you're animating text or another design element.

Build a custom text animation

If you don't find what you're looking for in the presets, you can always build your own custom animation. In the Animate tab, click New Animation, select Custom and choose the type of animation you want to create.

Edit the animation's parameters

After you’ve applied an animation to your text, it will be added to the Timeline. When you click on the animation in the timeline, you can update its parameters in the Animate tab.
