Use masks to show specific parts of layers while hiding everything else.
To create a mask:
Select multiple layers from the Layer list
Press ⌃ ⌘ M / Ctrl Alt M or right-click your selection and click Mask
With the shortcut, the last layer of the selection will be used to mask all the other layers of the selection.
To remove a mask:
Press ⌃ ⌘ M / Ctrl Alt M or right click the the masked group in the Layer list and click Ungroup
