A bulge effect pushes a layer outward or pulls it inward from a chosen center point, like a balloon inflating or a surface curving under magnifying glass.
In Jitter, you can animate a bulge effect to create attention-grabbing reveals or a subtle sense of depth on flat shapes and images.
To apply a bulge effect:
Select the layer you'd like to animate
In the property panel, switch to the Animate tab
Click Add animation > Effects > Bulge
Set the Initial bulge amount and your target bulge amount
Adjust Duration and Easing to control how the transition feels.
š” Tip: For a subtle pop, keep the amount low and pair it with a bouncy easing curve. Higher amount values with a wide radius create a more exaggerated effect.
