How to create a mask on Jitter

Create masks, mask animations and how to apply them.

You can use masks to show specific areas of objects while hiding the rest in your designs and your animations on Jitter.

How to create a mask?

To create a mask, you can:

  1. Select all the layers you want to mask

  2. Right-click on your selection, and select “Mask”

Another way to create a mask is to hit ⌘⌃M. This will create a mask group: the last layer of the selection will be used to mask all the other layers of the selection.

How to remove a mask?

To remove a mask, you can:

  1. Select the masked group

  2. Right-click on the masked group, and select “Ungroup”

Another way to remove a mask is to hit ⇧⌘⌃M (or ⇧⌘G) to ungroup.
